Petrochemicals I - An in-depth Introduction

This course is aimed at newcomers to the industry as well as those in organisations that service this sector. The two-day course explains the fundamental relationship between oil/gas, petrochemicals and the everyday products we purchase and consume. You will gain an understanding of the petrochemical chains, discover the major industry players, as well as benefit from an introduction to pricing and price analysis.
Petrochemicals II - Markets, Costs and Profitability
Thursday February 17
This course provides a deeper understanding of the dynamics for olefins, aromatics and polymers markets and also covers cost of production, profitability and pricing mechanisms. The course is held in partnership with Chemsystems Training.
Petrochemicals III - Feedstocks
Friday 18th February
This new one-day course, Petrochemical Feedstocks, gives an overview of the upstream industries that provide the raw materials for making petrochemical building blocks. Subjects covered by the course include crude oil refining and economics, natural gas processing and liquefaction, use of coal in petrochemicals and biochemical routes to petrochemicals. It also outlines the technologies used to convert these raw materials into petrochemicals. The course is held in partnership with My Energy.
